Palestinian journalist and writer Mustafa Al-Sawaf and several members of his family were martyred when the Israeli occupation bombed his home in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Sawaf is considered one of the most famous Palestinian media figures and analysts, and he has written hundreds of writings and analyzes on Palestinian political affairs.
The occupation forces are targeting journalists, as part of their attempts to obscure the facts and curb press coverage of developments in the war on the besieged sector, as the targeting of civilians in schools, camps and hospitals is escalating.
The brutal Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip continues for the 43rd day, as it continues to target civilians in places that should be safe, but today they have become the target of its brutal goals due to the complete siege, the lack of basic necessities of life, and the prevention of the entry of fuel, which has caused a humanitarian catastrophe, especially With hospitals out of service, resulting in a rise in sick martyrs.
Last August, Al-Sawaf wrote an article for “Society” magazine entitled “The Palestinian Arena is Approaching the Promise of the Afterlife.”
Palestinian activists mourned him through their accounts on the social media platform “X.” Activist Adham Abu Salamiya said: Abu Muhammad was martyred with his wife and some of his children in a horrific Zionist crime.
Abu Salamiya added: Dr. Mustafa Al-Sawaf is the father of all of us. We learned from him at the beginning of the path towards media life and media appearance.
Journalist Taref Al-Farra said: Journalist and political analyst Mustafa Al-Sawaf and his wife were martyred and others were injured after their house was bombed yesterday.
Journalist Ezz El-Din Ahmed wrote: The friend, writer, political analyst, and journalist Mustafa Al-Sawaf, along with his wife and son, were martyrs in a brutal Zionist bombing, and his son, the director, friend Muhammad, was seriously injured.
Ahmed added: You are worthy of martyrdom, Abu Muhammad, and a higher status, and you have been clutching at the coals since I knew you, and you are steadfast in the truth and have not compromised or evaded.
